Our inspection service aims to provide a service which is not only efficient but also keeps disruption to the customer and third parties to a minimum. We have a range of methods we can adopt depending on the access and complexity of each examination, this means we are rarely in a position where we cannot complete an inspection.
Railway tunnel vent shaft structural inspection
We offer a range of inspections, this includes but is not limited to a simple visual to a full in-depth tactile examination, detailing defects, corrosion effects, dimensional analysis and condition, from this information we can also make an assessment and provide repair services.
Detailed Inspections – Every structural element is examined, photographed and condition quantified and recorded. The frequency is risk based and ranges from an annual inspection to one every 12 years, depending on previous reports.
Visual Inspection – Visual examinations are performed to check up on previous noted defects that need tracking for further deterioration and any new areas of concern. These are usually performed annually and tend to not involve any specialist
Railway Viaduct Structural Examination
We pride ourselves in our ability to provide competent inspection staff, this provides our customers with confidence and peace of mind that the information gathered from the structure is not only accurate and relevant but also compiled and reported in a standardised manner. Our experienced inspection team is competent in the inspection of assets and include STE04 accredited structural examiners.

The use rope access can provide a cheaper alternative to cradles, scaffolding and access platforms, especially on inspection works with restricting working hours such as rail possessions, planned shutdowns and plant isolations.
