On the 14th October 2016, Vertex Access attended the prestigious annual Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. This year’s ceremony, held at Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham, saw over 500 guests in attendance celebrating the achievements of the shortlisted individuals and organisations.
Fast forward from 2014, where Vertex Access were Highly Commended for the ‘Most Promising New Business Award’, to 2016, where we were shortlisted for the ‘Design and Innovation Award’.
Providing our clients with the most innovative access solutions, the Vertex Access group is constantly challenging and developing traditional access methods. Our Vertex Air division which uses Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), has boomed since our last award in 2014, providing our clients with a variety of aerial services. This has enabled our clients to dramatically reduce costs and time spent completing services such as thermal imaging, land surveys, structure surveys, volumetric measurements and building inspections.
This year’s ceremony attracted nearly 600 guests from a variety of local award nominated businesses and was hosted by local radio personality, BBC Radio Sheffield’s Andy Giddings.
The evening was a huge success for Vertex Access, with us collecting the winner’s award for The Steelphalt Harsco Design and Innovation in Business category.
With years of industry experience, our divisions, Vertex Rope Access, Vertex Air and Vertex Rail and Road offer a wide range of access solutions. With a large skilled and reputable workforce we are able to undertake a variety of access works to highest standard possible.
We believe there is no such thing as a ‘one approach fits all’ attitude. Each access problem is unique. Like our clients, our primary focus is to ensure that the most practical, cost effective solution is provided for every individual project.
